Very impressive experience Brilliant experience here. Booking process was easy. Great friendly reception when we arrived to collect the bikes. Clear instructions and directions. Fantastic experience Had a great experience end to end at the bike shop. We rented a combo of gravel bikes and e-bikes, which were all of a higher quality than we had expected. World Class Bicyle Rental Experience I recently spent a week cycling in Ireland with the excellent Green Marble touring group. I had such a good time that I extended my stay for a few extra days to do more riding on the Great Greenway rail-to-trail from Westport to Achill. I had a terrific experience renting a bike from the Westport Bike shop for the extra riding, I have biked all over the world, usually renting because of the ease of logistics. The quality and condition of the gravel bike I rented at Westport Bikes and the customer service provided by Anthony exceeded my dozens of other rental cycling experiences. Well organised Group activity I was attending the IAAT Adventure Tourism Conference at Westport, and chose a ride along the Great Western Greenway for the activity day. Myself and 25 other delegates were coached to Westport Bike Hire where Declan got us all on to suitable bikes with helmets. I’d requested an ebike and so I had a very nice mid-drive Trek. Panniers were an option, but I didn’t need one. My bike was absolutely spot on mechanically and in every other way Being a large group, we had the affable Aiden as our guide…I would say that this made a big difference with a large group… Now, the weather was awful but still, we all had great craic. I particularly enjoyed the detour to Nevins ! I would comment that the Great Western Greenway (despite the claim of 42 Traffic Free Kilometres) actually has a couple of stretches on the road, and also crosses the main road at one point. Hopefully further developments will resolve this issue, in the same way that I hope will happen with the 300mtr stretch where the Carlingford Lough Greenway share the road outside Omeath. No reflection on Westport Bike Hire…. I’ll come back and do it again next year, and will have no hesitation in choosing Westport Bike Hire again

Excellent. Have bike will travel Absolutely phenomenal bunch of lads. We arrived with four of our own bikes, which we were able to give a quick service and adjustment to, air in tyres, key up / down seats. They have a fleet Trek e-bikes in pristine condition, with settings for turbo and cruising. We were able to reserve four which we picked up on the day - will get you up and down any hill in the area! No better way to see clew bay and stop off wherever you want. Helmets provided for everyone and off we went. Biking in Mayo Anthony was amazing setting us up on e-bikes, which we had not ridden before. I would highly recommend! Bikes were in great condition, helmets provided. Wonderful service, highly recommend!
